TEENS for KIDS Mission TRIPS

Giving the YOUNGER GENERATION an opportunity to SHINE for Christ

TEENS for KIDS MISSION TRIPS are annual programs organized by FORT Education Africa in collaboration with Christian academies and families to provide teenagers with an opportunity for Christian service to needy African children and a memorable African Safari experience.

In her book, Counsels to Parents, Teachers, and Students, E. G. White states that the younger generation “are not to look forward to a time, after the school term closes, when they will do some large work for God, but should study how, during their student life, to yoke up with Christ in unselfish service for others.” (p. 547 par 2).

TEENS for KIDS Mission Trips by FORT Education Africa are meant to do just that, driven by a strong belief that education, rightly implemented, should prepare learners for service to humanity and service to God.

TEENS FOR KIDS MISSION TRIP 2025

In 2025, FORT Education Africa partnered with Weimar Academy, a Seventh-day Adventist Christian school in Weimar, California, to bring Christian service to nearly 300 children at Nasarine Junior School in Homa Bay County, western Kenya.

With an enrolment of 300 children, almost 20 members of staff and a densely populated neighbourhood, Nasarine Junior School is a ripe mission field for Jesus. The school population is about 65% non-Adventist, an indicator of the status of the surrounding community with respect to the entry of the three-fold message of the Seventh-day Adventist faith. To bridge this gap, FORT Education Africa, in collaboration with Weimar Academy from California US, rolled out the inaugural TEENS for KIDS Mission Trip in February 2025.

TEENS for KIDS Mission Trip 2025 at a Glance:

Conducted a Vacation Bible School (VBS) program at Nasarine Junior School.
Held a public evangelism series that included health talks, music presentations and preaching of the gospel at a local market. As a result, 14 Junior High School students are currently undertaking the Discover Bible Study lessons.
Laid the foundation for five classrooms of a 12-classroom unit that will cater for K-9 children at the Nasarine Junior School.
At the end of the mission, the team experienced a memorable African Safari at the Masai Mara Game Reserve.
